In addition to the building, noteworthy are the artistic pieces in the museum, especially sculptures from the ancient period, through the Roman era to the Middle Ages. Also noteworthy is the collection of Greek-Roman vases, coins, as well as the collection concerning "the mother". In short, a museum not to be missed!

Tucked away, a little gem in the heart of Capua. The ancient sarcophagus converted into an altar and the fresco and niches behind it dating back to early Christian times are worth a look. The atmosphere is tranquil and inspiring. Don't miss the series of classical music concerts held in this and other venues between September and November.

Though heavily bombed during WWII and reconstructed after that, it still holds a few traces of its medieval origin such as the 9th cetury bell tower, the 11th century atrium with roman columns, a medieval crypt with byzantine decorations and a roman sarcophagus.

The roman bridge, crossing over the Volturno river, has two medieval towers at its end, and both the bridge and towers bombed during WWII but then reconstructed.
