What travelers are saying
- Reina D2 contributionsThere too many bar options to choose from! Most of them seemed pretty interesting, but I went to one that already had some people there. I heard some other tourists walking around saying they got ripped off, so I guess you have to be carefulWritten December 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Callum DouglasHamilton, New Zealand72 contributionsDead during the day, vibrant at night. Lots of people, food, and activities for any range of groups. I will give a warning to solo travelers, beware hecklers and being approached by sex workers (constantly)Written December 16, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - psudinoWeehawken, NJ4,520 contributionsThis is just a fun tourist attraction of a giant Godzilla head peaking out over a building. It's a perfect replica and does the job of being a fun attraction to snap a photo and say you've been there.Written March 17, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - dalboy17Auckland Central, New Zealand6 contributionsJapan loves baseball so much they gave it a Japanese name Yakyū. Coming from a country that baseball is a very minor sport we thought why not give a baseball batting cage a go on our father/daughter trip. Miss 15 years old - who’s not hugely sporting inclined but was happy to give it a go - loved it! As did I. Especially great you can start out with slower speed pitches and move if you feel so inclined.Written December 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Aaron NicoleLong Island, NY32 contributionsThis was my first experience in a place like this and it turned out to be a nice experience. The language barrier was not that bad and many of the employees carry around a translator. I had a lymphatic drainage massage and it was like nothing I've ever felt. I was amazed. You wear almost nothing and they massage you thoroughly!
You could literally spend the entire day in there. They have a gym, bar with beer, restaurant, sauna, sleeping chairs, library etc. As a tourist, I was concerned about my tattoos but this location is tattoo friendly.
Definitely recommended especially after pounding the streets of Japan.Written February 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There is a Don Quijote on this street which we spent a few minutes in to buy some stuff and look around. There is also a number of restaurants, shops and souvenir stores in the area as well.
We visited on New Year's Eve and saw Starduck Tony who is a performer that sings and plays music on the back of a small box truck which was hilarious and lively. He performs here regularly from what we understand and his dream is to go to NYC. We also did a quick walk through the nearby Golden Gai.
Closest metro station is Shinjuku station and we took exit B13 but there are a number of exits throughout the area depending on where you want to go first.Written September 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Curious2133822881610 contributionsWe were late and basically missed the whole session (do not underestimate how much time you will spend shopping elsewhere and the walk itself) - however the sensei kindly let us join late, and took extra time after the others had finished and left, to ensure we got the full experience (albeit in a shortened timespan).
Lots and lots of shuriken given to us for throwing! Literally the target paper was in shreds and falling off.
We got the shortened sword training I think - but fun, and full length swords too.Written February 24, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It’s just fun. Keep in mind. It’s not real gambling. It’s just a good place to relax and unwind and make friends. This is also a good place if you’d like to learn how to play poker Texas hold em style.Written November 28, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - magicmansteve1Toms River, NJ1,356 contributionsThis area is very busy at night with plenty to eat, drink and more. There is shopping and sightseeing all around including a robot restaurant and lots of crazy things I did not look into. There is a hotel in the Middle with a lifesize Godzilla on top. Great for photos.Written July 30, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
