- ItchyFeetCamarillo, CA12,027 contributionsIn Shimbashi we were walking around and discovered this small shrine off the tourist path. Seems to be for locals who stop by as they are walking through the area. It was a nice little discovery.Written June 23, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- ayaneeTokyo, Japan43 contributionsSo many kinds shops in the building...wonderful!! Interesting!! Written August 8, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dr. ShibuyakkoCalifornia47,932 contributionsThe first train line ever in Japan ran between Shimbashi and Yokohama. That's why this train carriage is here. Not a major attraction, but a symbol of ShimbashiWritten December 12, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ylime3 contributionsSmooth pleasant trip with good views. Though this line is rather expensive compared to other local lines.
Going to Odaiba area, it is easy to transfer from Shimbashi with clear signage.
However the reflection within the train is bad.Written March 1, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Worth a stroll through and you will find it is larger than you might think and offers a diverse range of options both shopping and dining..Written June 16, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - brixtontrevUnited Kingdom1,726 contributionsThis is the site closest to where Lord Asano committed seppuku after attacking Lord Kira in Edo Castle. he performed the act on the estate of Lord Tamura Ukyo-dayu. There used to be a very tall pine tree here called Obake Icho and this monument marks the spot where it stood. It fell down during the 1923 earthquake but when it was standing it was so tall that it was used as a navigation marker for ships entering Tokyo BayWritten February 3, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
