What travelers are saying
- CarlosMeloBrasilSao Paulo, SP176 contributionsWe were there for lunch, and the experience was simply wonderful. A very sophisticated venue with an excellent level of service. The family, definitely hands on, working hard even with a large staff. The wines are splendid and the city of Barollo is certainly a to do item. I highly recommend itWritten November 13, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Andreas JørgensenAabybro, Denmark3 contributionsTruly authentic experience with a hugely welcoming and smiling family. Definitely the highlight of the holiday. In addition, absolutely fantastic wine at very reasonable prices compared to Denmark. A big plus is that the family is very helpful with shipping at good prices. - Emily M3 contributionsWow- we were blown away by the kindness and passion of this amazing staff! We came here on our honeymoon because I love their wine at home and had to see where it is produced! The tour guides were so knowledgeable and tailored the tasting to our tastes perfectly. They also made it really easy to ship bottles to the states. The winery itself is vast and has such a beautiful story. Highly recommend on your trip through the Piemonte region!!Written July 7, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KestasKSVilnius, Lithuania3,735 contributionsThe building stands out, no doubt about it. Interior is also very striking bright. Wine? Quite good price/quality. Also experiments with bottle shapes and colors. The important part - Canubio. It is a small area, slope which is well positioned to grow smooth Nebbiolo wines.Written April 4, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Barbara SKrakow, Poland1,880 contributionsThe museum itself is located in a castle, offering a fanstatic view from the terrace, but the fact that the place where Barolo was born is not offering a welcome glass of Barolo is highly disappointing! The museum is quite modern, offering some digital presentations too.Written November 18, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - UtahPennyLanePark City, UT31 contributionsThis was such a fun activity - you actually paint with wine! No pressure, no rules, just fun. After a day of tasting wine, this was a nice way to spend an hour - laughing, painting and admiring Ryta's beautiful art. Highly recommend.Written October 31, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Karen VSpringfield, MO135 contributionsThis is a small museum dedicated to the history of the corkscrew. It contains hundreds, possibly thousands of corkscrews throughout history. There are also quite a few novelty corkscrews. If you have a few minutes to spare, it is interesting, but it is not a must see while in the Barolo region.Written October 9, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - exiledblueRovellasca, Italy566 contributionsIt was nice to see but not really about the castle and its uses as most of it was given over to the history of wine which in Barolo should have its own exhibition location.Written August 28, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
