Being members of English Heritage we had free admission, However, it is well worth a visit to see this spectacular building and having an insight to this part of our natural history.

What a lovely church, beautiful stained glass windows, organist playing while we were walking round, Spike Milligan buried in the churchyard and the place where John Wesley preached his last sermon.

The crypt houses the largest and best kept collection of bones in Great Britain and it’s well worth a visit.
On reaching the church we entered at the side and were met by a very nice knowledgeable lady who told us the history behind the bones and skulls which were stacked on shelves there.
