The industrial cultural heritage there, the history of the development of the colony, the design and architecture of other landmark/ancillary buildings, the lives of the workers, etc. are all interesting.
You get an audio guide from the visitor’s center and then you walk around the town hearing about how the town came to be and it’s connection with Antonio Gaudi.

The basilica is wonderful and the views from the top of the mountain are incredible, besides there is the possibility to enjoy the amusement park.
I recommend to pay the small fare to get on top of the tower of church, right to the feet of Jesus, and from up there you will be amazed of the beauty of Barcelona.

We booked a guided tour and it was excellent- the guide was very knowledgeable and gave us such great insight into how Gaudi began developing the themes that became so familiar in his work.
Of all Gaudi things I have seen (and I have seen a lot--see memento from Park Guell our grand daughter gave us for Christmas), I liked this house the best.
