Initially we felt that the view from shore was perfectly adequate but once we were on board our amphibious craft and cruising between the massive icebergs we were so pleased to have taken the trip.
After donning life jackets, our boat went from land to water with ease and we cruised among the beautiful ice bergs looking at the glacier, harbor seals, and razorbills.

Great local guide with local knowledge, the tour on the lake was definitely worth the money and took us to the glacier as close as safe (400 m), and close to the beautiful icebergs in blue, white and dark colours.
