Such a lovely little town. Wander through it and end up here. A piece of wall and a few towers remain and the views are very good.

Remarkable temple with the appearance of a collegiate church. It stands in the center of the urban area. Its construction is under the dedication of Santiago, following the establishment of the Santiago knights in Jerez de Los Caballeros
Stop at the High Altar, covered by a dome, made up of a baroque temple with three faces, of great ornamental wealth. It also has a high choir with a projecting golden tribune. The dome is decorated with 18th century paintings that were made by Italian painters and represent the Holy Trinity.
The church tower is spectacular, one can spend minutes contemplating it, it can be seen from many places in the city

Located in the childhood home of Vasco Núñez de Balboa, the first European to access the Pacific via the Americas and the first Governor of Panama, this museum contains three levels: Balboa and Extremadura's link to the conquest on level 1, the history of Jerez de los Caballeros on level 2, and the history of the Knights Templar on level 3. The church itself has headphones to visit on your own, although we chose a guided tour to better enjoy all the details of the church
The main facade has a great decorative richness that gives it the plant motifs, the wavy lintels and, above all, the tiles.
These are decorated with ceramic discs configuring bands or decorative borders, their style is Baroque.
Its style is baroque with brickwork and applications of baked clay and plasterwork, with colorful glazed ceramic coverings.
Its tower is impressive and it is worth climbing to enjoy exceptional views of the city of Jerez de Los Caballeros
