What travelers are saying
- Az A13 contributionsGreat to see the monkeys with no intervention from humans.
They seemed healthy, happy & just did their thing. It was nice to see!
Some advice… take an umbrella, not incase it rains, but to stomp on the ground and scare monkeys off. Many of the monkeys tried to approach ourselves & pram, and some succeeded and took things from the pram.
Do not take food. We loved the idea of feeding them, but they just swarmed us and took the food, and not in a nice way either. Lesson learnt for us.
The hill is somewhat steep, but still okay for children & adults to walk up, but wear something comfortable.
All in all, it’s definitely worth the trip in our opinion.Written July 15, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It was also super easy to find a grab/bolt driver nearby so that's a great bonus.Written August 11, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 123louiepGlasgow, UK55 contributionsWe really enjoyed visiting the market and would recommended a visit. As well as all the market stalls with food and trinkets, we saw dancers, lovely buildings and nice bars too.
BUT it is so busy that it did mean you felt forced to move along rather than to browse in several narrower areas. It was also quite daunting for you here kids where you feared getting separated.Written August 9, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Was taken back by breathtaking view from Windmill viewpoint.
Sat for more than an hour while having 30 baht ice lemon tea from the tiny shop there- enjoying best view we saw in Phuket in our 6 day trip.
Don’t miss this, really worth every cent you will pay to get here ( car or bike).
It’s in southern part of Phuket near Promthep cape I believe.

- Ana SDubai, United Arab Emirates14 contributionsOne of my favourite night markets in Phuket. Even if you go with a large group, everyone is sure to have a good time. There’s plenty of food stalls, bars, clothing and accessory shops plus live music. There’s something in it for everyone!Written August 11, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

It's very pleasant with impressive yachts in the marina and nice houses around the water's edge. The lines were low as it was off season. We enjoyed having a 4D interactive experience ala western style with a THAI twist. Our favorite component was the maze – find your way through the maze while being chased by demons. Perhaps not appropriate for very young kids but good for elementary and middle school kids.Written August 7, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
