Oui taught wonderfully and my teen had the best time. Oui is such a knowledgeable and calm diver and I trust her and Iain implicitly.
The equipment is excellent and kept in great condition and communication is excellent.
This is the only dive company you should book if coming to dive in Phuket!
We are repeat customers and will continue to be whenever we’re back in Phuket. - Saran M7 contributionsMy girlfriend and I booked our advance adventurer 2D1N similan liveaboard through Sunrise Divers (the diving crew and boat was South Siam Divers, who were also great). the booking and enquiries we had were handled well by sunrise divers. Our instructor Franck was brilliant, super professional, very informative and gave us great tips and instructions. He really helped me feel more confident in the water and I definitely came away more experienced. We got along really well, he took nice photos of us and was a great spotter for sea creatures. - Keith M11 contributionsJune 2024... It's low season in Thailand... The dives will be subject to sea conditions and current... The visibility might be poor.
That's not a sales pitch... That was the honesty of Pray, before he even considered trying to sell me a dive trip.
I dive in Scotland all year round and have 400dives.... Do I know a bit about crap conditions ...and the dive companies don't control the conditions... But honesty about them goes a long way in acknowledging them.
The current was at times mental, so much so, one dive was ended after 11min... And all the macho divers can say huh... Thailand in the low season can be tough diving.
That aside.
Pray dive are a well organised company and the dive guides are no mugs, happy to give feedback on individuals and whether or not they want you to dive again, and not being bought into taking you beyond your abilities.
And that spells trust... If you dive abroad regularly, you'll know what I mean...
Would I use pray dive again and recommend them to others ... Absolutely... Probably the best company I have dived with outside of the UK... Kit in good order, well organised trips and briefings... And the food on the boat was amazing.

Steven answered all my questions & was super friendly and accommodating. I would recommend asking about the last minute deals he can offer for liveaboards!
The boat he put me on was top notch with a wonderful crew and clean comfortable rooms. I would not hesitate to use his company again. When choosing its important to note how many customers the center takes on the diving boat. Some providers fill the diving boat with customers making it crowded and difficult to enjoy the day. Sea Fun Divers has a good ratio of divers to instructors (this time 10 customers, 4 instructors) and the boat was clean, spacious and everything worked perfectly. It’s been around for years and has a good reputation. The equipment was in good condition, food and drinks on the boat were great, the crew was helpful and professional. The instructors were also great and ensured that customers had a good time. Diving itself was nice even though the visibility happened to be slightly limited under water.
