A highly organised company, we were looked after from the hotel door to return. The tour included a full breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack with free water, soft drink and coffee/tea.

The diving instructor (Fabian) was professional and when I struggled with a refresher exercise, he took the time to take me up and start again. He ensured all of our equipment was comfortable. He allowed time for my husband to come down slowly as he struggled with his ear equalisation. At no time were we rushed.
The dive sites had many critters to see and the last one had an old diving boat to investigate.

I was completely comfortable with the company and their commitment to safety.
I would highly recommend this tour for the beginner to advanced divers.
The day was windy and large swell however the dive sites were calm and clear. The three dives ranged from 34 minutes for the wreck (deepish) to 46 mins for the reefs.

You will spend 2hrs approx each way on the boat so be prepared if you get squeezy. (they will look after you) . The boat was large enough for all to spread out and was quite comfortable. They had lots of facilities for the seasick, including tablets and sick bags.

I went diving last year in November with Steven the owner. We did 3 fantastic dives and he was great at helping me refresh my Diving knowledge as it had been a few years since I had put the equipment on. The dive spots were really nice and he pointed out lots of different fish hiding in the coral which I would never have had spotted on my own. All in all it was a fantastic day of diving. I would highly recommend Steven to anyone looking for a nice relaxed day of diving. I would have loved to have done another day diving but unfortunately didn't fit into my schedule.

We did 3 dives out at Koh Phi Phi and the first dive was the best. We saw reef sharks as soon as we got in! It's a nice big boat to ride out to the island and the guide and staff were amazing. Very helpful and accommodating. Our dive instructor even offered to take pictures for us to remember our trip! Lots of fun, an all day trip for a good price.

A class act. Excellent organization and guidance. GREAT food all day, and plenty of it. Super friendly, helpful crew. We were the only two snorkelers on the boat, but we had a WONDERFUL guide, "Min", who supervised and guided us throughout the day. Nice big boat, but take your "seasick pill" if you're prone to motion sickness because although the boat is big and safe, the sea swells do cause a fair amount of rocking. This was the best trip/tour/activity that we've been on here. Really enjoyed talking to the head to the tour, an Englishman dive-trainer with a lot of experience and a clever wit. Kudos again to the crew, the cook, and Marvelous Min. Highly recommend for a semi-rigorous outing of snorkeling, good food, and fun.

I had planned to be going to the Philippines, but due to a Coronavirus travel ban that went into effect the day I was leaving the US, I instead found myself on a plane to Thailand with no idea where I was going or plans for when I got there. During my flight, I began my research so I would have a game plan when I landed in Bangkok. I came across Steven on the scubaboard forums, and he was extremely helpful in offering advice for my last second trip to the area. Because of this, I booked my land based diving through him and have no regrets.

First off, if you don't know how the land based diving works, it's very unlike anywhere I've ever dove. Whomever you book your diving with, they basically book you on a cattle boat with 30-50 other divers. It sounds absolutely terrible, but, to be honest, it really wasn't. The boats are HUGE, have multiple levels, and most of them offer plenty of room to spread out. The dive deck can get a bit crowded right before everyone jumps in, but everyone is assigned a spot, and it's really not that bad at all. The dive op you book through will assign you a dive guide, and you will be with that dive guide for each dive on that trip. So, on any one of these huge boats, there will be people from several different dive ops. After six days of full day dive trips, I never saw a guide with more than 5 divers, though. Nearly all of them were 1-3, with a couple of 4's. Only once did I see a guide with 5. So, while there may be 40 divers on the boat, around 1/3 of them are guides. And, most dive sites are large and spread out enough so that everyone isn't on top of each other. The only times this became an issue is on wall dives, and understandably so, because... well... There's nowhere else for everyone to go. Very few of the dives were like that, though, so no worries.

Anyway, now that I've explained how it works, here's why to book with Steven. Not only are his prices more than reasonable, but he will be sure you get what you are wanting out of the trip, and knows all of the various operations in the area like nobody else. He also went above and beyond on many occasions for me. After my last second destination pivot and travles, my head was apparently up my arse for a few days. One day, I somehow left my mask on one of the boats. He was able to get it from them and had it ready for me on the boat I was on the next morning. Forgot my dive watch in my room one day because I was charging it... No problem, as they provided a backup gauge for me.

Anyway, long story short, if you're looking to do some diving in the area (They also do liveaboard stuff too), get in touch with them. You won't regret it. Thanks again for all your help Steven.

The hi-light of our trip to Phuket. Fantastic experience and a must do on your to do list. The diving tours are organised very well and professional.

Ask for Tim to be your instructor and buddy. Everyone knows and love this guy!
Thank you Tim for your patience with myself and the wife. If it wasn't for your motivation we would not have completed our PADI's.

Thanks you guys! See you soon.

I booked 2 dive trips as well as a surf lesson here. The dive trips were really nice, the crew on each trip was extremely helpful and friendly. But the best was my guide on both trips Lea. She is honestly the best guide I ever had! Lea was a very knowledgeable guide and I felt very safe and well taken care of. I had some issues on one of the dives and she helped me to solve them very patiently. She also provided some great tipps for my dives in the future. Lea made the whole trip perfect, I could not recommend her more!

    Serious safety incident
I can't believe this vendor is still allowed to sell his services. This man kidnapped us.

We booked this scuba diving excursion through Viator on Trip Advisor (our first mistake). When the owner arrived to pick us up, I could immediately tell he was not expecting us as clients (a queer Black couple) and the mood immediately shifted when he saw us. We got into the truck with him anyways (our second mistake) and about 10 minutes into the drive, he informed us that we would have to pay an extra fee for pickup. The listing said that pickup was free for all hotels in Patong and though our hotel was in Patong, the owner said, we were in "North Patong" and would have to pay extra. I definitely felt like it was sleazy that he opted to tell us we would have to pay more for pick up after he had already picked us up and we were well on our way but I didn't say anything and paid so as not to cause conflict. Little did I know, there was going to be conflict regardless.

While we were driving, we were talking to each other about travelling to Bangkok by plane and the driver interrupted and said "When are you planning on going to Bangkok". We told him we were planning on going later that evening. He responded b by saying that we couldn't go scuba diving anymore. We asked why, and he said because it was dangerous to fly within 24 hours of scuba diving. I asked why that wasn't listed in the ad, and he said it was and that I clearly couldn't read properly because I also didn't read about the pickup fee..... I pulled up the ad to show him that the listing said we couldn't go scuba diving if we were pregnant, intoxicated, or had back pain, but nowhere in the package that we booked did it say we couldn't take an airplane. We told him it didn't matter anyways because we didn't have to fly that day (our travel plans were flexible). He didn't care and told us that he wouldn't take us scuba diving anymore. At this point, we didn't even feel safe going underwater with this man literally responsible for providing us with oxygen to survive so we agreed and said we wouldn't go anymore. We opened the doors to get out of the car when I asked if we were going to get a refund on our ticket since we couldn't go anymore. He kept driving (with the truck door open) and told us that we wouldn't since we were "choosing" not to go scuba diving anymore but he would refund us through Tripadvisor if we gave him an extra 1000 baht right on the spot. I said no. It was clear this man was swindling us for any money he could get. He then started speeding the car yelling at us to give him more money. The car door was open, he was speeding super fast down an area of Phuket, Thailand that we didn't know, we were yelling for him to stop and he would not let us get out of the car!!!! This went on for what felt like a very long time! I finally took a handful of cash out of my bag and threw it at him yelling at him to let us out of the car. He abruptly stopped the car, told us to get the f out and when we scurries out he said he would "f****** kill us if he ever saw our f****** faces again!!" Then he drove off.

I was shaking and crying. This was the scariest experience I've ever had in my life. This man not only endangered our lives but he also blatantly threatened to kill us.

AND HERE'S THE KICKER - when we contacted Tripadvisor to report the situation they wouldn't give us back our refund because they said it was against their policy. When I explained once again that this man KIDNAPPED AND SAID HE WOULD KILL US, they offered me a $25 discount on my next TripAdvisor excision purchased in the next 3 weeks. WHAT!!!!

We finally got our money back on the excursion, but this doesn't feel okay. Our lives were put in danger by this vendor, we had to fight to get our money back, and this man is still on here selling his services to unsuspecting tourists.

I had a great day of diving with Aloha Scuba. The team was wonderful and the private boat without the crowds made the day and dive much more enjoyable. I definitely recommend Aloha.

Aloha diving was great. I really enjoyed the couple that ran the company. The boat was clean / really relaxing, especially the upper deck which had bean bag chairs. The diving itself was beautiful. We went to an island and did the right part on the first dive and the left part on the second. They did an excellent job explaining the different kinds of fish / other marine animals that we were going to see down there. She also explained the different hand signals for the animals so that when she used them I could see them underwater.

During the dives she really did an excellent job pointing out the different animals and key things worth seeing. She also helped manage my buoyancy to ensure that I wasn't struggling too hard down there in terms of maintaining depth. I had a wonderful time. She also used her camera underwater and took some awesome pictures of me and the clownfish that we saw.

Great diving company and great dive especially for someone who is not certified.

I had the greatest experience scuba diving with Michael Kerr (Scottish instructor)! I’ve never went scuba diving before, so he was very thorough with directions and stayed by my side. I felt very safe, and he often made sure to check in if I was doing okay.

By my second dive I felt very comfortable and was okay doing pretty much everything independently! Now I want to take the course and get certified!

I would 100% recommend this trip to everyone, and thanks a bunch to Michael for being an attentive and fun instructor! If you are able to, I would also recommend you ask Michael to be your guide!

Oh also the view underwater was unbelievably beautiful - we saw lots of fish and creatures. :)
