- gerrising202029 contributionsThis hike was offered as a tour by my hotel, there is a lovely view and a great little street cafe to have a smoothie or coconut water when you descend the mountain.

I eventually convinced him to park in a side street and I scarpered through the traffic to the sanctuary of the monument. The sculptures represent farmers and fishermen, mining and workers of the rubber plantations. Mythical birds stand atop the columns on either inside of the access stairs. - David DDevon, UK26,556 contributionsFriday 14th February we were on a tour of the sights and Landmarks of Phuket and a visit to Big Buddha was on the itinerary.
This small brightly coloured Temple is situated, on the left hand side, of the walkway leading to the Big Buddha.
There are a number of golden statues lined up against a vibrant red colour wall.
