You can take a cab from. Caron beach to reach this place. You may catch sunset on a clear day.

Not much else to do, fine place to spend few hours if there's nothing else to do

We had visited this small temple dedicated to Lord Buddha during our sightseeing in Phuket. This temple is located close to Karon Beach and also known as Wat Karon. We liked the beautiful architecture of temple and the peaceful ambiance inside it. This place is worth a visit when you are visiting Karon Beach.

We walked past this roundabout, Circle, a number of times, by day and by night, during our recent stay in Karon. In the centre of the circle are a number of white statues, assuming marble.

The statues are a tribute to the heritage of local Thai people. They pay homage to fishermen, banana farmers and workers in the rubber plantations and tin mining.

Karon Circle is at the busy intersection of Patak and Wiset Road on the beach front.

The statues can be viewed from the pavements that line the roads. At night the base of the statues are lit up with coloured lights.

Friday 14th February we were on a tour of the sights and Landmarks of Phuket and a visit to Big Buddha was on the itinerary.

This small brightly coloured Temple is situated, on the left hand side, of the walkway leading to the Big Buddha.

There are a number of golden statues lined up against a vibrant red colour wall.

Worth spending a few minutes here.
