Great for a weekend out with the family.

The Live music is great, general area to relax and enjoy the afternoon.

The food stalls are average at best but the atmosphere makes up for it.

This place is a little hidden gem, not too crowded

Junction 21 Indoor Market is hosting a spectacular Easter Chocolate Festival. The venue will set the scene of the event, from the mouth-watering display at the entrance with chocolate rabbit feet guiding shoppers to the food court communal area, where chocolate companies will display their most delicious offerings. The festival is taking place from 26 March - 3 April at Junction 21's venue in Pepper Square Value Mall in Boksburg. Join Junction 21 in supporting small businesses in the community.

The festival is sure to be a calendar highlight, offering an exciting and entertaining experience for the whole family. A safe and fun Jungle Junction Kids Corner, sponsored by The Crazy Store, will be in the mix for children to come and express themselves with creative crafts like Easter egg painting. There will also be a balloon sculptor and magic show to keep them busy.

The event is also ideal for chocoholics who are keen to try unique and innovative products and indulge their sweet tooth. Top chefs Nicolas van der Walt and Melissa Doubell will demonstrate how to make spectacular chocolate showpieces, chocolate pavlovas and chocolate moulded Easter eggs. An airbrush tattoo artist will be there for those who want to get (temporarily) inked with funky designs.

Sunday morning come to the Blubird market in the suburbs, 9 a.m. To 2 p.m. Not a flea market at all. The best speciality breads, cheeses, traditional foods, organic vegetables, charcuterie meats, and once a month the famous free range Karoo lamb and grass fed beef, straight from the farmer. Olives, biltong, fresh sushi and more... Go and see for yourself.

We went on a Sunday to find that it was closed. And we were not alone. Whilst there we saw at least another 30 people arrive who were also shocked to find it closed on a weekend. It's hard to say what it would be like when open. It looks organised and it does have a really funky bar with live music. I might go again but not in a rush.

It's an awesome place to spend some time. It's very quiet and not too many stalls. However it's well maintained and relaxing. Tried one of their local brewed beers and it was great.
