We found great results, but some are outside Le Lamentin. Showing results in neighboring cities.

Jardin de Balata Fort-de-France 4.6 mi away
#1 of 7 Nature & Parks in Fort-de-France
Fabulous views, an amazing rope bridge walk, humming birds, and a peaceful oasis that gives a real sense of the abundant vegetation, both native and generally tropical.
Our guided tour of the 'north' of the island of Martinique given by our friends at Martinique Best Secret tours included a long stop at this glorious botanical garden on the slopes of the Pelee volcanic mountain.

First we had a stop at an illet with a lot of iguanas and then we had snorkeling to these perfect and clean waters.
So nice to swim in this spot in ocean that has little water far away from beach.

Lovely park full of interesting items and iguanas, to the far corner is the ticket booth for the fort guided tour, they also have concerts and a lovely place to sit down and people watch
Keep a look out as you walk alongside the stream as the Iguanas blend very well into the rocks and trees.

Walking distance to Village Creole Point Bout, and the marina at Point Bout, plus a lot of restaurants to choose from!
We thought this area was charming with lots of restaurants and accessible beaches.
Pointe du Bout Martinique 5.3 mi away
#31 of 74 Nature & Parks in Martinique
Easily accessible on the bay ferry, marina with numerous diving trip boats, restaurants, small supermarket, creole village shops, car hire, an array of sheltered bay beaches, a good cheap option for the cruise pas...
Located partway up a hill, the balcony had a magnificent view of the bay and across it to the volcanoes, Fort d'France, the comings and goings of sailboats, ferries, cruise ships, para-sailors, etc.

#2 of 4 Nature & Parks in Les Anses d'Arlet
... d'Arlet can be little challenging due to steep, narrow and curvy roads, but the drive is scenic and beautiful and totally worth it because you will end up at some of the most beautiful beaches in Martinique.
This is a mixed blessing: it makes for excellent swimming in calm, clear water, but it also means that boats filled with day-tripper snorkelers come in and make for a bit of a crowd.
