A beautiful reserve with great birds (Redstart and Pied Flycatcher to name but two) , lovely walks through the woods and Murray, the RSPB reserve manager, was really friendly making the visit really memorable.
Easy to find and plenty of parking, we took time to gain information at the visitor centre, the delightful lady who provided a map and a informal detailed insight into the local terrain and nature that awaited.
