- Marina46 contributionsWe had a great day at this sandy beach with turquoise water! Great for kids as it is shallow. There is a beach bar/restaurant nearby and you can order food and drinks at reasonable prices! It cost 20β¬ for an umbrella and the young man from the Poseidon blue bar/restaurant was very friendly and polite! Would visit again!Written August 18, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ida L20 contributionsI think the beach is quite nice for snorkeling, especially if you visit the left side, away from Pigadia city/the harbour. The left side is where the beach has less rocks/more sand, and also less tourists, which is probably why there was more fish to watch. We saw zero lifeguards at our visits to the beach. We found that the water gets easier and easier to get into, the further to the left you go. But more than 50% of the beach has big rocks, so wear shoes, so you don't hurt yourself (I didn't, and therefore cut my foot pretty bad the second day). Along the beach you will find some companies/taverns with sunbeds for rent. The cheapest we found was 10β¬ per day, at the Maistrali Tavern. The most expensive ones we found was at Sardeles, with 15β¬ per day (both places had nice wooden sunbeds with matresses, and a side table).Written June 30, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Quest1077971 contributionWe hiked very early in the morning to catch the sunrise. It took us 1hour and 15 minutes. Going down took us less then 1 hour. You need good shoes because path is packed with all kind of stones. If you hike a lot and you are an active person take this post valid . It really was a nice walk. Nothing strenuous.Written September 16, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Isaac RodoGreece282 contributionsWe tried to stop for refueling for an hour in the marina. We wanted 1,000 liters of gasoline.
First of all, the boat moored on the entrance which belongs to the local coast guard told us to leave, because the marina is private. After explaining to them that we are only there for gas, they gave us the bad look and refused to even help us moor.
Then, the local coast guard arrived. we were on a brand new boat and all three officials, among them an officer treated us like pirates or drug dealers. They came in the boat, searched everything, totally unpolite and unwelcoming.
We had to take our kids out of the boat so that they didn't become witnesses of this incredibly racist behavior. A definition of power abuse, but local Greek authority, totally out of order and unbelievably hostile and unwelcoming.
AWFUL, TERRIBLE, IMPOSSIBLE.
I wish the mayor or better yet the governor understands the serious negative impact of such behavior towards people who wanted to spend money on this beautiful island.Written August 21, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
