The tour went smoothly, it took over nine hours including the transfer (from and to La Gaulette) for what we have not been charged extra.
First we visited the waterfront in Port Louis, then the citadelle (Port Adelaide) then the tea factory (which was more of a tourist trap since at the end of the visit you were expected to buy a veeery expensive tea) then botanic garden (which was definitely a highlight - we spent an hour there but one could easily be three hours inside, it is so beautiful). The last sightseeing stop was the Red Church. Afterwards we headed for the Biches beach (no pan intended ;)) to board a small motor boat and see the turtles. Unfortunately the turtles were there in the forenoon that day (but in the afternoon the previous day - they do not have a fixed schedule ;) and the skipper had to guess the best time to meet them the next day with no guarantee of course). Instead we were offered another try free of charge the next day (which we had to decline due to organisational reasons) and if not - a snorkel and dolphins watching in a glass bottom boat (this one was a success - we saw dolphins and did snorkeling in a nice place; you have to keep in mind though that a large part of the reef is dead due to bleaching events in the last twenty years). At the end we had to skip the lunch due to longer activities at the beach which was not a problem.
Overall the tour was OK, our taxi driver was a very nice man and could speak English feeding us from time to time with some insiders knowledge about living in Mauritius.
The support from Bonjour Mauritius was quick to responde and helpful, they do not however have and phone number on their web site which is a bit irritating.

One of the best excursions ever. I only had one day to do something fun in Mauritius while travelling for work, and I definitely made the right choice. The breathtaking water and beach, fantastic snorkeling, good food... and Christian and Bouba were great. I was on my own and quickly made friends with the other passengers. Highly recommend.

it was supposed to be a catamaran cruise, but they said it was damaged and would have to be a ski- boat, when we got to the departure point it became obvious by talking to all the people there that it was never going to be a catamaran cruise, we only went to one island instead of the 3 promised, however the guides were great and we enjoyed it, just don’t deceive customers to get bookings

Have written the above times / pride - as it maybe helpful to future passengers, we were by no means rushed, and the day was around our times, and we could have had less or longer in each place if needed/we wanted.

We did somehow manage to miss the market at the port, but there was plenty to do and view the new malls/had a drink around the harbour etc (you do need to negotiate if buying items - something I don’t like doing, but it was necessary)!

Lunch was in a clean, modern environment - based around fresh seafood with rice, chips and salad. There are meat options should you not like that.

The car we had was a Toyota Salon, clean and nicely cooled - a very hot and humid day, so that was great after walking around in the heat.

Handy to get yourself set up to be able to WhatsApp the driver, to allow flexibility/communication during the day - we did this.

We traveled as myself (29), my wife 23, my Mother (51) and Grandmother in law (79), good for all ages - perhaps not so much for little ones (may get bored) or those who struggle walking distances (Approx 4.6 miles - if the iwatch is too be believed).

Easy to book, and Ridwaan will contact you as soon as you book via WhatsApp, and is available throughout.

Very happy with the service, and our experience of the North of Mauritius.

The trip lasted 830am to 4PM, which was plenty time. Went to two beaches and one area near a cliff to snorkel. Plenty of food, coffee and cake in the morning, and pretty much all you can eat for lunch. Same with drinks, bottomless. Good crew.

Only negative was only enough snorkeling masks and fins for 10% of the boat. I couldnt go because they didnt have enough equpment, that was dissapointing. But, this is a nice trip to get off the island.

Excellent trip with a very knowledgeable guide. The pamplemousse botanical gardens were excellent, as was the aquarium. Had a lovely lunch at L ‘Ocean.

Excellent driver, who picked me up near my accomodation and kindly took me to a different accomodation at the end of the day.

A really interesting variety of places, the garden is very relaxing and beautiful. I do recommend getting something at the tea factory, whilst it may seem expensive it is definitely worth it.

    Thoroughly recommend this.

Born in Mauritius - but established in Nigeria for 10 Years
With past years restriction - I was finally off for a break to my Paradise but this time with 4 of my Nigerian fellows who was so in quest since they knew my nationality.
The Tour was the perfect journey to accommodate our needs : Fresh Sea Foods & Fruits / Amazing View / Local Rhum and relaxing and clean hotels and resorts and mostly the service especially the driver Raj, I felt like a tourist in my own country as after 10 years things have changed and my colleagues were tipsy all journey, they enjoyed the tours and especially the organization and planning behind. Raj was always here to give us history about certain places and ensured that all day and night long we were having fun and especially to taste the local foods and simply living like a Mauritian. Surely, cannot ask for more. Well done Raj & Team.
Keep doing the good work and why not next year we explore the south this time and trust me this time it shall be 10+pack cause the photos we shared when we got back was persuasive for many.
Many Thanks and Big love to the whole team from Lagos. Cheers & hope to see you soon.

Used MUT for airport transfer and tours of the island. They responded quickly to e mails, were very accommondating, reasonably priced and our driver Javed was brilliant. Extremely punctual and was great in explaining the culture and history of Mauritius, a country and people of which he is very proud and rightly so. Very highly recommended.
