- Rick SColorado9 contributionsWe got married here! Everyone was so kind and friendly, and they all cried when our guests did, which is always touching. The beer is delicious, the staff is wonderful, and you just can't beat the setting. The restaurant nearby accommodated 30 of us for the reception wonderfully, the food was absolutely spectacular (although we felt terrible that more of it didn't get eaten!), and again, the setting! Imagine dancing at a wedding reception at night, outside in the snow, next to a fjord in northern Iceland. There's really nothing else like it.
We're told we were their first wedding, so who knows if they ever want to go through all THAT again, but if they're willing to do more functions like that, then I can't recommend Kaldi enough. The food was excellent, I reccomend the steak and the fish and chips.
