Beautiful chateau in a picturesque location, very interesting chat from an enthusiastic “chef” about wine production, lovely gardens and very tasty wine!
Their guide Emma greeted us was warm and friendly and we walk the short distance to their nearest vineyard, where she described in detail the different types of vines grown and how they managed them.

Wandering through the limestone tunnels was a fascinating experience, all the wine vintages are stored in small limestone alcoves, depicted only by a small black chalkboard with the details of the year of production.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience visiting the chateau and learning about their wine making operations, followed by a tasting of two vintages (2008 and 2015) of their wines with charcuterie plates.
We were there right before they began harvesting the Sauvignon bland grapes so our tour guide allowed us to pick some of the grapes still on the vine and try them (yummy!).
