Loved the train ride and my 2 year old granddaughter loves trains. Her face was just lovely to see! We didn't realise we'd get a miniature and a mince pie. That was a very nice surprise. The journey is just about right for little ones. Improvements? Stick to timings. Little elves and Santas helpers are not very patient. Glad it wasn't raining when collecting presents as this was outside . Presents were very good though. One last thing, Santa got to the table before us and then disappeared at Park End for quite a long time. Difficult to explain to a two year old that he would be back. In all a good day, enjoyed by all of us. We will definitely visit again. Thank you.

So sad that Lydney Park gardens are not open this Easter. We have visited these amazing gardens for years. Is there any particular reason for this.
There will be lots of disappointed visitors this year.

Fantastic well kept park great for all the family. Cafe well priced and toys in the cafe to bring outside for the kids was a nice touch. Spoke to locals as we are tourists for the week and everyone was lovely. A great place to visit, free parking too which is nice.

Ignore the intolerant miseries whining about scruffy boats and industrial estates. This harbour is located at the end of an industrial estate, what ya gonna do? As for the boats, I spent a good hour photographing the textures and patterns on these characterful old vessels, some in a more advanced state of decay than others. Isn't it funny how some folk see beauty and history in ageing artefacts and others cry 'eyesore'? Why do we constantly have to try and please these intolerants who want everything sanitised and 'neat? Great views of the Severn are found here, plus a little cafe and toilet. Lots of nearby walking routes too, a charming place. No need to get irrationally upset by some decrepit boats which some of us actually like to look at. I'm told they are owned by locals who pay their mooring fees, have unknown stories behind them which I find fascinating. It's also very easy not to look at them if you don't want to! What is wrong with people these days? They can't rise above the smallest of things and wish to foist their intolerance on the rest of us and clear people out of places who have occupied them for years. I think people of high emotional intelligence who like a bit if rough around the edges beauty will like this place. Neurotics who just want to drink coffee and moan about untidiness probably not so much.

What a great place, run by charity with helpful and friendly staff, well worth a visit for £3 adults and £2 children from 12-5pm, we had a great day the pool was clean but a bit cold for me but kids loved it once in while I got sun burnt on the lounger. This is a very clean place with food servered all day and drinks served in proper cups not those cardboard ones, they even have an airline to blow up your inflatables save you going blue and breathless. Traveled here from Tewkesbury took 35mins and had a great family time. Will be visiting again . Thank you for a wonderful day you do a great job.

A fantastic little antiques, bric-a-brac and collectables shop. A treasure trove of interesting stuff to browse through spread over two areas, a smaller shop and a large warehouse area with larger items. The owner was very friendly and couldn't do enough for us, he even made us a free coffee! For some weekend or Wednesday browsing and to find those hidden bargains, I thoroughly recommend this little shop.

Was recommended to visit here with an increased chance to see wild boar, deer and a plethora of birds. Was not disappointed with the nature I was however disappointed with the lack of respect from dog walkers and their particular lack of ability to read signs saying keep dogs on leads. It's not difficult, buy an extendable lead if you must but to see them running free shows a total ignorance of a simply rule. Was fortunate to see fallow deer and plenty 9f birds but no wild boar, I have bee told they have been heavily culled in the past 2 years and they are becoming very shy, sahm e as I was hoping to see these wonderful albeit temperamental animals.
All in all a wonderful place to visit.

Owner was very friendly & welcoming when we arrived explaining the facilities available.
We had a great game of crazy golf (There was even a certificate for the winner!) & also played table tennis, pool & air hockey in the games barn which was all included in the price.
Free parking on site. Great price for a full day ticket. Thankyou ⛳️

Really well looked after. Sensible and straight forward induction. Excellent support from the staff, loved the challenges especially number 5. For an old lady, I am delighted with my achievements. Thank you so much.

Quite a small menu now compared to past visits, but the Mac n cheese with salad was very good.
They also do a good selection of cakes to Ron’s of with coffee

Absolutely lovely place. Very reasonable price for 2 adult mountain bikes and brilliant service! We were shocked and very thankful about how understanding they were in regards to a damaged break due to injury while cycling and our car breaking down in the car park! Was just one of those days, but everyone there was beyond kind and we are extremely thankful.

A beautiful, memorable experience - thanks to the perfect combination of Ed's expertise, his passion and the unique magic of the Forest of Dean. This woodland is local to us, somewhere we walk regularly...and I now feel infinitely more connected to the environment as a whole. The walk was a multi-sensory experience, hugely enjoyable and meditative - and has inspired me to do more! Thank you Ed.

Booked two X two hour rides this week, both were in the stunning Forest of Dean, views galore! My horse Morag was beautifully behaved, trotted & cantered so safely, after just a few minutes I was confident in her abilities, cannot wait to return on holibobs!!
Thank you girls, you did this old timer proud xx

I spent a lovely day with Sarah learning to decorate a christmas cake. She is calm, friendly and patient. I have never done anything like this before but I was so pleased with the result and enjoyed learning new skill. It was an amazing experience. Can't wait to go back! She provides a delicious lunch which is lovely. Highly recommend taking a class with Sarah from The Chocolate Strawberry.
