We noticed unusal high number of cars parking at Fortress Ridge car park and saw a few people walking from there on the road those 1.2km (15 min) to Lockley Pylon trailhead.
Our 2WD car could get to Fortress Ridge Car Park, but you'd need an SUV or 4WD to easily go beyond.
