- 4PeaceLadyAlamo, CA44 contributionsA friend and I took a hands-on class this past weekend. We are trying to find unique things to do and this fit the bill! The recipes were all printed out and were talked about one by one (with tips thrown in) and then you chose which one you wanted to work on. The ingredients were laid out and each group had a person to guide them through the steps. Questions were welcome. I am not an experienced cook but was completely comfortable in the friendly atmosphere and felt quite accomplished that I helped prepare such a lovely meal. There were solo cooks, couples and small groups of friends. At the end, we all sat down to taste the items and discuss the process. The three hours went by so quickly. - Emily B1 contributionWe did a private tour and loved it! The staff are so friendly — answering all of my kids’ questions and being so patient with them. Milking and feeding goats was truly amazing. - judywP246QLChicago, IL3 contributionsAmazing class and what a fun way to spend a few hours in Sonoma. The teachers Sheana and Ben were so knowledgeable and made us feel at home. They offered us wine and soft drinks and provided cheese plates for us to nibble while making a fantastic ricotta crème cheese. It was so simple that we can easily do this at home and so delicious! This is a must do for groups, friends families! So enjoyed it and we felt it was a highlight of our trip to Sonoma.. - Geraldine FSonoma, CA25 contributionsWhat a fun experience! Our annual Earth Day friends outing was so perfect. We got to connect with an easy and root-based creative experience. We were able to make ricotta cheese with full use of her whole kitchen, while sipping wine and tasting some of her delicious cheeses. Sheana is clearly an expert and extremely friendly, sharing her love of the creative cheese-making process. We opted for sake tasting as well, and we were blown away by the service, presentation, quality, and the amazing experience that the chefs and their lovely server Ava provided. Our guests could not stop talking about the experience, and as the hostess, it was the first time I had the opportunity to enjoy my own party and my guests as everything was fine by the team (set up, serving guests, and cleanup).
