Easy to park . They were very strict letting people in at their 15 minute slot which was fine so we went to the fair . Adults free which was great even with a teen !

The start of the lights is great - photo opportunities and the “free “ toasting marshmallows .
The main event took about 10-15 mins to walk around so not sure where the 45 mins to walk it came from .

We were there 90 mins with a visit to rides before and after the stroll and a drinks stop .

Delamere Forest was much better With themes . It was a nice hour or so but not worth a repeat visit and our children are older .

Toddlers seemed to be wowed .

ÂŁ60 for 4 of us so not too dear for what we got

    Shhhhh don’t tell anyone!
The town of Prescot is enjoying a renaissance.
It’s largely due to the Shakespeare North Theatre, which is such a draw, and audiences flock in to the town for pre show food and drinks.
The theatre has always had a couple of bars, one of which doubled as a cafe.
Well- move over cafe- there’s a new kid in town.
In a scene change worthy of the cockpit itself you can now book a table for pre show food and drinks.

Yes, the menu is limited, but it’s delivered with skill and attention.
There’s mostly tapas with a selection of diminutive pizzas called pizzette.

    But it’s really rather good.
Served promptly but with no pressure to eat. Attentive staff and table service are a world away from the cafe days.

Ambiance could be an issue with the neo-brutalist containment vessel which surrounds the all wood theatre offering stark and reverberant walls, but with a few friends and a few drinks you will give it an Oscar!

It is a great place to visit, it has a nice lake with plenty of geese and ducks to feed along with a small park further down but the downside about it is that it can be somewhat dirty (rubbish etc, a few years back I even saw a needle further away from the actual playground but other than that its pretty clean).

Good to go during day I have visited many times but I would generally avoid it during night (there tends to be groups of teenage lads every now and then etc) just stay safe as it isn't a too well lit with as it has a lack of lamp posts.

As someone who lives close id definitely say it is a great area if you want some peace, plants and nature to see especially if you are willing to head down the less clear paths across the park.

Nice people around and not too many people walking dogs so it's pretty peaceful. There is also a few benches to rest on to watch over the lake if that's your thing.

Lastly keep your eyes out for some stunning rare bluebells as there happens to be some but they are very well documented and kept track of regularly by locals with the abundace of hidden trail cameras so don't bother with them.

I started at Hoylake Red Rocks and walked East ending at Fort Perch. I'm an Ingress player and was following the walking banner North Wirral Sunset rather the official coastal walk path.

It was a lovely day out, starting on the beahc and ending in bustling New Brighton. The tide was out during the afternoon and sightings of wading birds were frequent, including some wonderful murmuration behaviour near sunset.

Visited Knowsley Safari with the kids and they had such an awesome time. The Baboon Bus is a must and the Sea Lion show was a favourite for the kids.

I rang the place up to see if you have to book online or can just turn up, i got advised to book online as there is still limited capacity due to the pandemic. I booked online & paid. Soon as we got there car park was chaotic nowere to park then when we went inside it was absolutely rammed not one table left to sit. I said to the lady behind the counter how come it's this busy I thought it was limited capacity? to which she said everybody has booked in the last ten minutes!
Not enough staff then towards end of session a girl wiping down every table with the same cloth! No social distance whats so ever and far to hot in there.

Location: Cairngorm Mountain region, Scottish Highlands.
Crested Tits (Lophophanes cristatus) were one of the many highlights of this photo trip to the Cairngorms this February. Excursions to various locations enabled the party of six photographers to also capture images of Red Squirrels, Mountain Hares, Golden Eagles, Grouse, and Red Deer under the expert guidance of expert nature photographers. Their advice was always extremely useful and informative.
The party also undertook landscape and night time photography, the latter near the summit of the Cairngorm Mountain. The accommodation was warm and well appointed in one of the lodges in Aviemore, the company excellent.
