One of my favourite spots - well managed paths through the woodland and hides over water where I have been seen kingfishers, mandarin ducks, woodpeckers, herons and fox families in the spring.
The small one is the best as the pond is visited by herons, woodpeckers, nuthatches and my favourite kingfishers.

A beautiful well organised nature reserve with lakes and hides, ponds, pond dipping, farm land etc. Inside is a shop and café (donations for food and drinks), a small information/museum area.

All the horses are rescue horses so as such can be a bit unpredictable, There is a cafe on site.

Great community farm, friendly volunteers and had a fantastic time feeding the animals - the sheep in particular were very eager!
Running a place of this size with a handful of volunteers whilst offering the opportunity to groups of less able people to help with the project, is a feat worthy of the utmost admiration.
