- Lucia BLubbock, Texas, United States17 contributionsIf you turn off the road a drive to the tower you can park very close to the tower along the gravel road. As expected the tower is on high cliffs next to the sea with commanding views toward Gela to the south and coastline to the north. The tower itself is about 2000 years old and there are steps leading to the upper door where you can experience what it was like to be a guard of the tower thousands of years ago. The minor graffiti on the tower prevented me from giving it 5 stars.Written July 11, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - bahrawiaFrankfurt, Germany667 contributionsAt the end of the day, you either like it or you don't. Traveling through Europe a lot, you see a lot. I think this is one of the nicer ones to see. But as I said, a matter of taste. Be your own judge.Written April 1, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
