Since the tours are dependent on weather conditions, we had missed our opportunity on our last trip to Corsica We were staying in Calvi, having driven up from Olmeto the day before.
Although the excursion was in French and we kind of got the gist of what our guide was telling us, he also gave a few facts in English.

We did the one and a half hour boat trip from Porto and along the calanques to Cap R0sso and went in the late afternoon which was a good time to see the late sunlight on the calanques.
Small boat of 12 people kept this intimate, Jo was perfect in taking us through the small cracks and giving us the tips and interesting information on fauna and flora on the reserve.

to find a parking spot in PORTO is challenging, but once you are there, book the 1 1/2 hour boat sight seeing tour along the " Calanche Cliffs " We sat up front to take photos which is a great spot to see the cliffs.
The road was packed with buses and cars, so we needed to keep well to the sides of the beautifully walled road.

Anytime a bunch of pigs or goats could pop out from a bush and cross the road, as well as hikers or tourists photographing the landscapes.
Although Ota is far away from all the activities of Porto, I think it is absolutely spectacular up there, and would have loved to sleep over there instead of in the busy, boring buildings of Porto.
