You absolutely must visit the PISCINA MIRABILIS! This incredible site is mostly undiscovered - but is an awesome piece of world history. Unlike so many Roman sites, the PISCINA is remarkably intact and phenomenal in so many ways. It is an architectural and engineering wonder as well as a wholly unique form of art. It truly deserves it’s title of “The cathedral of water”.
The World will one day recognize this as a truly magnificent historical site - visit now before the crowds come!

This lodge is in the lake of fusaro, near bacoli. It was used by ancient dinasty of bourbon as hunting lodge. Now it's a museum. Near there is a garden

Everything is amazing from the exceptional panorama you can enjoy to the multitude of artifacts which date back to the pre.greek era of the area. Only negative comment: the museum hosts a wonderful equestrian bronze statue (similar to the one of Marcus Aurelius in Rome) but the room where it is kept is closed for renovation, apparently since many years!!! Why is it si difficult to renovate a room?? And if it so why don’t move the statue to another room, there’s plenty of space!!!

These wonderful ruins are in the town of Baia, west of the city of Naples, Italy. The park is well maintained and although there is not a lot of written information, it is small and not crowded. The seaside town of Baia was originally Greek, then Roman and then part of it became submerged in the bay through volcanic activity. We were able to snorkel on the remains of the underwater city in about 30 feet of water, and combine our visit with the Aragonese castle museum nearby and the ancient oracle of Cuma, a few miles away.

Archeological Museum of Campi Flegrei in Castello Aragonese, Bacoli Italy. Exceptional and important artefacts relating to Baia, Puteoli, Kyme, Bacoli, and Misenum, such as "Sacello degli Augustali" and sculptures of the "Ninfeo di Punta Epitaffio". Fantastic views from the castle terrace, absolutely worth seeing!

My wife and I decided to check this place out. Took a train from Montesanto in Naples to Lucrino, then a bus from there to Bacoli. Finally, a 20 minute walk and we were here. The place is absolutely beautiful. Paid 5 euros for a sun umbrella and two seats at miseno cafe (although their customer service was a bit lacking). The only problems we had was there were no places selling what you'd expect (towels, Frisbee, volleyballs, sunscreen, flipflops). The whole beach front was barren as far as shops like this went and only cafes selling drinks and snacks were available.

I'd say if you're interested, go check it out. Just make sure it's not spontaneous and that you're prepared!

Stopped by twice while in Bacoli, to sit at the beach, sip a drink, and nibble on some starters. Enjoyed the place, service was helpful, efficient and friendly, and felt safe. Recommend!

My wife, two sons and I went there for swimming in August. If you arrive by car you have to use one of the overpriced parking lots close to Spiaggia dello Schiacchetello. The beach is just a couple of minutes of walking away, at the very end you have to climb down a very littered staircase. Sadly, the beach and water were not that clean either. It's really a shame, because the lagoon is actually a idyllic place, however due to the littering we were not able to enjoy the atmosphere at all.
Without the litter, the lagoon would really be a nice place, however our experience was complety the opposite...

Sadly this site is not open. We could at least look at it through the fence. The site was full of little spring flowers which made it very pretty to look at. I visited this with a private driver so it was easy to get to. I do not know how easy it would be to find by public transport

I went there yesterday for a swimming with my son, husband and mil and the place is very beautiful but there was a cat who attacked my husband just beside my 9 months old baby.
We went there to complain and the owners just replied it wasn't the first time it attacked someone but they couldn't do anything about it.
As someone who were trying to enjoy some peace it was very stressful. We had to leave the place running as he was bleeding.
I am very disappointed with the place and how they behaved with everything specially if it wasn't the first time it happened. There are ways to resolve as calling the animal control for example.
When it was time to leave, they didn't apply any kind of social distance even when we complaint about it. Very poor service and quality.
