In fact, the town is located up the mountains, so from the village, you can see wonderful views of the surroundings. An excellent decision is hiking in the surroundings, from where you can relax, walk or hike, and see fantastic views of the swamp and the mountains with their red colour. Excellent. A day hiking and having lunch in the town is an excellent choice at the weekend.

Be sure that there are no thunderstorms ahead and you will enjoy every minute of the experience. It is really the only thing to see in Tavertet apart from the views, and won't take you long to do.
