The guide was very professional. He gave us more information than we expected. High recommendations.

I took this tour privately with door-to-door pickup and drop-off at my accommodation. It was a fantastic day, made really special by a very knowledgeable driver/guide who spoke excellent English and was a fountain of knowledge on the whole history of the Korean war and its aftermath. The visit to the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel was probably the highlight. The weather wasn't good that day, so visibility from the observatory was poor, but that was just my bad luck. I'll go again, with the same company and hopefully the same driver. Highly recommended.

    Great Tours and Food
Review of Top Korea Tour - Private Day Tours
Reviewed 4 weeks ago via mobile
Juno took us out four days—we saw central Seoul and many of the areas outside the city with interesting sites—fortresses, palaces, an overlook of North Korea and many places we wouldn’t be able to see by ourselves. The explanations for the various sites were good and lunch each day was a treat. Juno knew many places where we could get excellent Korean food. We would highly recommend any of the tours but especially the ones out of town.

Excellent tour. I have checked several tour agents in Seoul for a DMZ tour but mostly we have to join a group and start at a fixed time, and visit  a gingseng shop when return to seoul, which was not matching my schedule. Finally  Lyne and i found Joy tour korea they offer a private tour, we booked a half day DMZ tour and drop off at incheon airport on Feb 9. the tour guide Mr.Song picked up us at our hotel, and we put all our luggage on his mini van so that we could go to airport directly once we finished dmz tour. although tour price is not cheap as a joined group, but i strongly recommend this private tour if you wish to have a flexible schedule. thank you Mr. Song , you are excellent tour guide! Lyne and i enjoyed dmz tour very much.

Very nice half Day spent in DMZ - our driver and guide Justin picked us up at our hotel on time with a very comfortable van. We spent About 90 minutes on our way to DMZ. We saw the 3rd infiltration tunnel, Dorasan train station, Dora observatory, Imjingak park and much more. Justin knew a lot of interesting information and was able to answer all our questions. We would Just appreciate to have more time at each stop of the tour - but this is not "problem" of the guide as you have to follow the instructions and itinerary of the DMZ officials. :)

Andrew was very kind, patient and informative. He took as many photos as I wanted (and I wanted a lot!) and made sure I saw as much of Nami Island as time permitted. He knew all the perfect places to go for the best photos. Even after our tour ended, I ran into a issue and Andrew was willing to help me and solved the problem! I would highly recommend him as a tourguide any where in South Korea!

Thanks to Youn for her warmth and enthisiasm. Unfortunately due to the weather, much of the view into North Korea was blocked by fog. If you will like a simple and quick introduction to the history of the north and south, this is a great tour to go on.

We booked a 4-day private tour from Busan to Gyeongju to Andong to Seoul. Mr Harry Kim was our tour guide and he was excellent! Harry was very knowledgeable, fun, and very accommodating. He was also very patient in taking pictures for us. He also introduced us to new Korean local dining experiences with excellent food, Overall, the whole trip was wonderful, and we would definitely book again next time we're in South Korea.

I booked this tour for myself, my husband, and a friend that was traveling with us. I had originally booked a different tour that would take us to the JSA Freedom House, but due to the African Swine Fever, we were unable to do that tour. Not going to lie, we were super bummed, but this tour was suggested instead. We decided to go ahead and proceed with this tour and boy, we were NOT disappointed. This tour turned out to be one of the best tours we have ever taken on our travels. Our guide, Alfonso, was amazingly knowledgeable from start to finish and SOOOOO personable. We had great fun with him all day. The tour took us from a morning hike with great views of Seoul to the DMZ for some great shots of North Korea. Then, on to a traditional Korean bbq lunch which was fantastic!!! We finished the day off at The War Memorial where the day ended with us meeting with a North Korean defector. It was so wonderful speaking with him and he was quite humorous and personable even though we didn't speak the same language. I 1,000% suggest this tour and suggest requesting Alfonso as your guide. You will NOT regret it!!!
