What travelers are saying
- backandthereagain83 contributionsHubby and I spent a wonderful day at the beach club. First impression was excellent, nice parking, at ”check in” we got all the info we needed. Plus a nice surprise that the majority of the price we paid was credit we could use for food and drinks, which meant the lido was actually very reasonably priced. Food was good and drinks were cold, my favourite was the milkshake. The beach itself was very clean. I would have given a full 5 star rating if there were showers at the beach. It’s kind of dumb to have to put on your t-shirt after swimming to get to the showers as you have to walk through the bar and I usually do like to get the salt water off after swimming.Written September 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Docballs199 contributionsWanted a not too noisy Beach Club with sand and beach lounges as well as catering with crystal clear waters .
All in abundance here.
Ample parking
Get hotel to ring ahead and book a lounge chair at front row to water .
Only downside are the vendors selling “junk” annoying our stay.
Great way to tune out on a glorious sunny day.
Lots of young staff around .
Not too much boom boom music which was greatWritten August 31, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The beach is better to the right if facing the sea.Written July 26, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Guide411021746943 contributionsCrystal clear perfection! Idyllic way to spend a 36 degree day & beach club making it so easy! And parking right at beachfront!Written July 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- titaElizQueretaro City, Mexico65 contributionsThe beach is amazing, the sunbeds are very comfy and the staff is nice. I have to say that the umbrellas design are clever and also eco-friendly ( they look made of recyclable materials) I dropped a star because there was a lot of sea weed and little animals that bite you.
I highly recommend yo to bring your own big bottle of water and some snacks, so you won't spend a fortune.Written July 10, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. To par a car is 5 €.
The entrance on the beach to rent 2 sunbeds and the umbrella is above the average, second raw is 35 €.
The self service offer variety of local food and it is good, the only problem is the slow service.Written July 8, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - hurricanekatrinaruleWoolhope, UK236 contributionsWe thought we would find the seaside and came across this place. The sea is beautiful and ideal for small children as it is shallow. There are some little fish that swim near the shore. I think we visited out of season so could park on the road. The town nearby has plenty of places to eat and drink, buy ice-cream and beach toys. The town is a little dated but if it was more modern, I expect more people would visit.Written August 29, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Leah H55 contributionsHad a lovely time on the beach. White and, crystal clear, still water. Not much around there. Recommend visiting for a day trip only. Hotels look way overpriced and there are much nicer towns in Italy than Porto Cesaro (the closest town). It was an easy 1.5 hour drive from Monopoli (which is a great place to stay) and we went on to stay at Gallipoli (40 mins drive) which I highly recommend visiting and staying a few nightsWritten June 24, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Andreas SFrankfurt, Germany9 contributionsPunta Prosciutto is the start of a long stretch of sandy beaches. It‘s very long, has crystal clear light blue water and a few dunes in the background.
Only hitch is a lack or choice of beach huts and amenities and that the settlement looks rather wild - to some including us this isn't a drawback at all.
Rubbish / cigarette buds on the beach however is a problem everywhere in the region.Written October 8, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The place has delicious food and jazz/bossa nova music, the staff is friendly, I really recommend if you’re looking to relax while enjoying an amazing view and local food.Written July 14, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bartosz SWarsaw, Poland12 contributionsWe visited Baron Beach in June, before the high season and over the working week so there were not too many people there. Beach itself is nicely situated with wide area of shallow waters. The beach itself is well maintained, staff friendly. There were some contests (dancing etc.) and other attractions for kids and adults (in Italian). There is bar nearby for those who want to grab a bite, but we didn't try it. Water is clear. Enjoyed it a lot.Written June 21, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
