Alex and Norma were our guides. They were friendly, knowledgeable and professional in 3 languages English, Spanish and Japanese.
The food tour experience was a wonderful birthday treat for my wife. We enjoyed the Wagyu beef, and the flamed flounder sushi as well as the salmon sushi, Oishii!!!
Including our guides and another tourist we were a small group of five. It didn't feel like a tour but a night out with new friends. Muchas Gracias!!! FlavioP2022

Had an amazing time on this walking tour. Have been to Shibuya multiple times before but Sho, a fun and intelligent guide, showed me parts of Shibuya I don't think I would have ever experienced without him or this tour. Definitely worth the money and will always be a night to remember.

Kaori-san was an amazing guide and even though it was new years day, I was able to try many different and delicious foods! Without Kaori's guidance I would not have known where to go, since many places are closed during the new years in Japan. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to try many different cuisines in one day. After the tour I was completely stuffed from trying so many different foods, but it was totally worth it!

I booked 2 tours from Viator and they ended up being from this same company, (Japan Awaits), which was great. I had no idea at the time of booking but both of the tours turned out to be amazing so I'm glad this company is so consistent with their tours.

I don't normally write reviews but since these tours were such great experiences, I feel like I need to write a review for this company. First, I will write a review for the Ebisu Food Tour (the other tour we went on was the Aged Whiskey Tasting Tour). The tour ended up being much more than just a food tour. I have been to other food tours and this one is very different since you get to see a lot of the sites and attractions in the area and not just eat food the entire time.

I also really enjoyed how personal this tour was. It ended up only being the 3 of us in the group and they still went through with the tour. We met the tour guide at Ebisu Station and we went to the Ebisu Garden Place and got to see a great view overlooking Tokyo there. And if you like beer, you'll have the option to visit the Yebisu Beer Museum, which was perfect for our group since we love beer. It was the highlight of the tour for us. After visiting the museum, we went to this alley with lots of food stalls and were able to try some tasty Japanese food there such as okonomiyaki pancake and skewers. We were stuffed and after trying the different types of food, we decided we wanted something sweet and the tour guide took us to a very tasty local ice cream shop.

The whole tour was amazing. We loved the food and being able to talk to our very sweet tour guide who took us around to see the local side of Tokyo. It was very interesting to learn about Ebisu and why the Japanese people love this area and why so many people want to live here. Having a better understanding of local culture is not something you can experience on your own so I highly recommend this Ebisu food tour.

Sid's very friendly and his sharing on hidden gems of Tokyo was very refreshing.

I enjoyed myself listen to the history of various parts of Tokyo and would definitely recommend anyone who would like to explore other parts of Tokyo besides the typical shinjuku, akihabara touristy place.

Keiko made this tour! She was such a fun host that took us to so many places to try adventurous and delicious foods. She was so sweet and took so many fun pictures along the way for us to remember the experience. The group was so nice and we actually made friends with everyone on the tour, so it made for a really fun night! Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking to try some of Japan's classic dishes as well as some adventurous ones!

Very much enjoyed this tour. I was pleased by not only the food stops but also the array of other areas we went to in Harajuku and the information we were given. Particularly good if you are short on time and want to cover a lot of ground and see some hidden gems that you wouldn't find without a local. Jackie is a knowlegeable, professional and friendly guide and can answer anything you need to know about harajuku or Tokyo in general. Would recommend.

I joined the Kawaii Food Tour a while ago, and it was such a fun experience! The tour guide was informative and engaging, it was like getting insights from a local. Also love the different food/snacks we get to try. Highly recommended to those who want a hassle-free holiday but still get to try everything and speak with a local...

Went on this tour with friends and had a great time! I've been to Shibuya a few times before but I am not very familiar with the bars /izakayas in the area.

Our guide, Yukino-san, was very accommodative and easy to talk to and overall made the tour a very enjoyable experience. She took us to a neat place frequented by many locals, with an easy-going atmosphere and lots of great food to choose from, so that was a great discovery!

Would definitely like to try some of the other tours if I ever get the chance.

Had a great food tour with a family of 6. Yappy was a great guide, he did a great job showing us views of Shibuya and the famous crossing a tourist wouldn't know about. Had the most fun at the last stop eating shabu shabu and drinking delicious sake.

Thank you to @washoku_club_food_tours for bridging the gap for those who have never tried sushi before to make it an easy and fun process, by including cooked versions of sushi (usually it’s always raw!) and of course for having halal options.

Today we learnt how ‘sacred’ sushi 🍣 is as an experience. It’s not just a meal, it’s an aspect of the lifestyle. First you wash your hands with a cloth handed by the chef 👨‍🍳 (in the previous upload) then you eat ginger to clean your mouth 👄 and drink green tea 🍵 which the restaurant usually grows itself!! So every restaurant’s green tea is unique & different. Then you begin the sushi experience which was absolutely astonishing!
