We visited the Ebisu Garden Place to look at the holiday illuminations. It looked like the place was relatively busy, especially the restaurants on the top of the tower, even on a Thursday evening. The entire complex is rather large, and the brick? paved outdoor areas were pleasantly and tastefully decorated and illuminated mainly with white lights. There was a huge Baccarat chandelier enclosed inside glass that kept changing colors. The buildings surrounding the walkways are very European-looking, and that added to the entire ambience. The huge Christmas tree at the end of the walkway was brightly lit with colorful lights, and there appeared to be a bunch of now-ubiquitous Christmas-market stalls surrounding it, though they were not open when we were there (early December on a weeknight). This was definitely much more low-key than the other holiday illumination venues in Tokyo, and we actually enjoyed it.
