Grander and better than Matsuya next door. More variety and more things to see and buy. Also better ambience and quality. All the typical departments are here, and more

We were taken to the food hall by our guide during our day exploring Tokyo. It's an amazing place, full of all sorts of beautifull, appetising food. A must-see!

This exhibition commemorates Kanahei’s 15th anniversary of professional debut in 2018. It was looking back on the 15-year career of popular illustrator and character designer Kanahei. From the representative works created until now to the new works, Kana Hera’s masterpieces are showcased there. Notably, many exclusive items are available for purchase!

The Kanahei “15 Years With Little Animals” exhibition was held between July 25th (Thu) and August 6th (Tuesday) on the Matsuya Ginza in Tokyo.

Tokyo station hosts lines of bullet and non trains.
You can easily loose your way in it. So unless you have been to it before and are knowledgeable of it better arrive to the station earlier to catch the needed train.

There are also many shops and restaurants, more like a mall.

I was surprised to find the Nihombashi Takashimaya S.C. on my way back to my hotel.
The building was cool and it offered multiple floors for fashion & accessories, with numerous dining options.

I had been here before just out of interest and returned to this iconic store that goes back to1881 where it started as a watch and jewelry store by K Hattori. Today it is famous for expensive watches , jewelry, chocolates, porcelain and hand bags.Today it sits at the heart of Ginza on Ginza Dori, with its famous clock tower rebuilt in 1932. I poked my head in and then out for the obvious reason but it is worth a look to see an interesting building and real classy shopping--if that is your desire and capability.

This is a shopping center fist and foremost but personally the main attraction for me is the design of the place. I was walking around Ginza one day and the sleek black exterior drew me in. Inside the design contributes to a glamorous atmosphere, which makes window shopping fun even if the store selection isn’t my favorite. Having tea in the atrium overlooking the street is nice.

    COREDO MUROMACHI
Coredo Muromachi is a 24-story complex building with restaurants on the 1st to 4th basement floors, a multipurpose hall such as a theater on the 5th to 6th floors, and an office building on the 10th to 21th floors.
The opening was a big topic at the time of opening in 2010, but inrecent years, due to the influence of corona, etc., vacant stores have became conspicuous in commercial facilities.

Basement floor. Cool space. It’s a quick visit, but so worth it! It’s in Ginza so you can check it out between shopping sightseeing. Hermes 8th floor gallery also cool if you are going to shiseido

This thoroughfare is very new and has lots of places to sit and relax as well as home to various cafes and restaurants. I loved the florist on the corner, such a wonderful display of modern Tokyo style. All the elevators lead down to the subways so very handy to get to the airport, Yokohama and more locally needed destinations. Clean, safe and very special. They hold free concerts at lunchtimes but check at the Nihonbashi tourist info centre.

Coredo consists of three buildings - 1, 2 and 3. They are pleasantly designed with eateries and shops. The items displayed are very pretty, but more on the expensive side.

An excellent department store, with lots of artisanal products, and a very good depachika. Worth a visit if you are looking for almost anything. Prices are a little high, but value is worth it.

We were knackered and stopped for a drink and watched the world go by in the viewing gallery and then went up to the roof garden. They have an excellent selection of restaurants and shops.
