I also liked the classical statuary dotted around the park; and the enclosure with small animals, including rabbits, is bound to appeal to children of all ages.

... of Revelation (with which Angers seems well-acquainted, given the presence of the famous Apocalypse Tapestry in its chateau) and representations of the Zodiac, as well as depictions of the lives of the saints.
I stopped in Angers to see the great castle and the Apocalypse Tapestry both of which I highly recommend.

The expert (I think Leo) was amazing at recommending and describing the different wines and the combination of grapes in each.
Very helpful staff speaking good English are on hand to help you taste as many of the excellent wines as you wish.

... processes followed by a tour of the production facility and the Caves (wow!) and then onto a very generous tasting session (we tried 12 different wines from their range) - all with friendly, informative hosts.
The first part was spent in a 'classroom' and gave us the background on wine making and production, before we toured the press and fermentation area, then undergound to the caves.

We've been to France numerous times and have always enjoyed the various parts of France we've visited, but this stay at Chateau de Brissac continues to be one of our favorite memories.
I found the whole visit to be quite exciting and romantic when looking at the framed private photos on display of the family and their ancestors.

The best zoo I have ever visited:the magnificent South American aviary, which you can walk into, and the birds fly around you.The giraffe and zebra enclosure is spectacular.
The animals seem more relaxed and content than in more conventional zoos and the visitors can wander around easily, getting amazing views.
