The late afternoon drive along the rough roadway, through the trees, leading up to the Kinema in the Woods was a delight; as were the horse chestnut trees which surrounded the ample car park and were in full blossom.

Staff were amazing and welcoming, the tearooms are a gem - step right back in time to the 40's (the vanilla crumble is to die for!!) and the exhibits are interactive and interesting.

We took the guided tour; our host was Phil, who did a fantastic job, he is very knowledgeable and told some great personal stories about the brave men and women who flew these machines during the war.
We had an excellent tour of the Flight with a highly knowledgeable tour guide who took his time to show us around and answered all our questions.
