... the other day and what a great session of chat and reminiscing there was: Americans, Austrians, Canadians, and a few locals savoured this unique Time Capsule…almost hidden away in the heart of the medieval city.
Trad musicians arrived at the pub and broke out a session, with a room full of people and feet tapping, The Hole in the Wall is truly a hidden gem of Kilkenny!

While you can wander through the abbey ruins on your own, it’s well worth it to take the tour to learn about the history and interpretation of all the archeological ruins.
