- Darryn_FewsterEdinburgh, UK172 contributionsOne of the best places around the area for dog walking. Both my partner and I were surprised that we could not find this place, or any of the roots around here, on any app to suggest that it was such a good dog walk.
We highly recommend this as a enjoyable walk not only for you but also your dog. It's advisable to either take a picture or study the map closest to the gate before you enter, just so you know which college route you want to embark on. There is also a set area for cyclists to explore which is a non-pedestrian area.
Overall, we cannot recommend this location highly enough for enjoyable, potentially lead free, walks if you have a four-legged animal or not.Written June 12, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Where do we start. We had our wedding here a few days ago and Wrag Barn is just pure Magic.
Ben....... What a big asset to Wrag Barn he is as Events Manager. He had us with full condfidence for our day and he didn't disapoint. The day ran so smoothly under his guidance, nothing was to much trouble, he was reassuring, kind and generally a really lovely man who pays attention to every detail and gets it all right. He commented at how chilled I was as the bride and that was purely down to his proffesionalism, his calming nature and the attention he paid to every detail.
Tracey...... She was there to greet us when we arrived and she couldn't have been more lovely. Chatting to us and putting me at ease when i was starting to get a bit anxious.
Food....... The food was Amazing. There was plenty for everyone to eat. Every guest commented at how lovely the food was.
Venue....... The venue was magical. The rooms were beautiful. The views were stunning and the highlight was a ride on the golf buggys where you really got to appreciate the stunning views with some lovely photo opportunities.
All the staff were lovely and friendly and it really made for a really relaxed, fun, beautiful and joyous wedding.
I'm so so happy we chose Wrag Barn to host the most important day of our lives.
I just wish we could relive it all over again.
Thankyou again Wrag Barn and and Ben.

- Isle-o-WightyIsle of Wight, UK237 contributionsMy wife and I really enjoyed this one and it proved to be the perfect place to end our trip in Highworth.
It was quiet on our visit, with a table of three and a single drinker at the bar being the only other customers, as it is small in the area we were in, this didn't matter and it still had a good feel about it.
The drinks were well priced and they also had free cheese and biscuits, some lovely cheeses!!, we didn't stay too long as it had been a long day but I would definitely return if I find myself in Highworth againWritten May 7, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
