#1 of 3 Nature & Parks in Glenfinnan
I would highly recommend (especially for Harry Potter Fans and history buffs) Great view from the car park or hike up a wee path for a wonderful view of the bridge and the Glenfinnan Monument.
You also get a good side view of Loch Shiel on this trail, and you can hear the piper playing the steam train into Glenfinnan Station while gazing at the wonderful landscape!
#2 of 3 Nature & Parks in Glenfinnan
We stayed two nights on the shores of Loch Shiel at the Glenfinnan House Hotel and absolutely loved going out to the shore in the early mornings and during dusk to take in the peace, tranquility and idyllic setting.
Accessible from the Glenfinnan monument in the north and Acharacle at the far end, a beautiful loch with many aspects, makes for a great backdrop to the monument.
