What travelers are saying
- Simon WNewcastle upon Tyne, UK10 contributionsGreat walk however it’s treacherous when wet.we got to the beach and then it absolutely poured with rain . The climb back up the hill was extremely slippy. Personally I’d avoid this walk if rain forecast. That being said it was a great adventure but could have easily been a disaster as trainers and slippy mud don’t mix !Written October 22, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Grá ByrneCounty Kildare, Ireland244 contributionsAn extension of this beach is Platja D'Albercutx which is located on the infamous Pine Walk, this thin stretch of beach is located towards the left (when facing the sea) away from the Port itself. The azure water is very welcoming and warm. It's a busy area yet the beach is not over crowded. There is plenty of shade under the many pine trees. It's relaxing and feels safe and carefree. Highly recommend spending time here to relax in the Sun and dip in the warm Balearic sea.Written September 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Damo1367Newcastle upon Tyne, UK483 contributionsLovely little stretch of beach and it is small and narrow so get along early. Water is always warm and inviting and beach generally clean. Lots of lovely bars and eating places here so great for family also.Written July 22, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Henrik Ebbe NielsenQaqortoq, Greenland11 contributionsDiscovered this restaurant while mountainbiking. Liked the view, and tolk the whole family for dinner. Took a taxi, ad it is quite distant from town. Great for a family with very small children, and for a menu with lokal dishes and ingredients.
However in the future bring your pen car, as the taxis are reluctant to drive to Pick you up again, even though the restaurant closes early.Written June 29, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Cala Murta is on the small side. No facilities - so pack out whatever you bring in.
Area available for swimming is quite small.Written September 26, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The walk starts on quite open terrain but after a while there are a number of fairly indistinct tracks, all of which essentially lead to the bay. You are likely to stumble across a goat or two as they graze amongst the vegetation. The views when you get to the beach are fantasticWritten April 1, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- G Tea3 contributionsTry going when very helpful staff there to help with what you might see. (Not sure which days, sorry) Lots of free maps of other birding places to visit .
I enjoyed the paths away from the road with parked up cars (less dog evidence)
I heard nightingale in the pines at top end of park. Saw kite, little egret, grey herons
The entrance is down the side street, just after the bridge on left.

On market day and on a warm summer evening it can be lively and crowded. Definitely worth a visit at one of its busier times to enjoy the thriving life of this little town.Written April 19, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Keswick7bLeeds, UK69 contributionsLook for Carrer del Bosco 300m after tennis centre between P. De Pollensa and Alcudia, just after kite surfing shop. Turn down this street, and right at the end and park as far along as you can. Nature reserve on your left. Three hides and viewing platforms. Signed 1.1km route. Saw flamingos egrets swallows. Peaceful. No facilities. Take binoculars if you can.Written October 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Grá ByrneCounty Kildare, Ireland244 contributionsA smaller and thinner strip of beach down to the left of PdP's main beach when facing the sea. It is located on the beautiful Pine Walk and imo a much more pleasant experience than the main beach, despite the busy walk way it is a lot quieter. The warm Balaeric sea is translucent, still and tranquil. There were nó sunbeds in May but plenty of pine trees on the beach to take shade. There are many eateries beside the beach and it is safe to leave your beach gear and watch it from a safe distance while enjoying a leisurely lunch on the restaurant terraces.Written September 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AlbertSalichsManresa, Spain24,527 contributionsParroquia de la Mare de Dèu del Carme is the main church of Port de Pollença and it is located in Miquel Capllonch Square. It is a modern church, which was finished in 20th Century in a Neoghotic-style. It has a porticoed entrance, not usual in churches.
