It was amazing to be able to see the inside of the windmill (climbing up ladders to get to higher levels!) and be able to walk around on the deck to see how they turn and stop the sails.
It is worth seeing the inner workings (they grind grain at least once a year) the woodwork, and the wind vains and how the sails are opened and attached to provide optimum wind power safely.
