This is possibly the nicest Chinese temple we have visited. Sunday morning was a lovely time to attend - the peace and the sensory experience of it was really wonderful.

The building is a lovely one to see, with a lovely well-maintained facade, and fits in nicely as part of a self-guided heritage trail that you can take to merge all of the attractions into a nice little walk across the city.

Planning for a quiet stroll on an island called Pulau Indah, this might be the place...this island also housed one the largest port in the country, Westport with berthing terminals for large ships...you could plan a trip to Tanjung Piai for a stroll but dont stop here...on the way please visit Westport...certain area are restricted but you can check with Guards at sentry post for tourist friendly areas....on the way back...please stop by Boustead Termnal and perhaps catch a glimpse of super yacht Equanimity, controversial 1MDB linked property...cheers

This is a well managed temple run by the Chettiar community, originally from South India.
The temple had been extensively renovated a few years ago and has all the Hindu deities. There is also a hall within the compound to cater for weddings and other functions. The temple is accessible by car or public transport. Ample parking is available right in front of and around the temple.

The place was closed when we visited and didn't look like it accommodated visitors - but don't know. It was good to have a little peep though.

This church is located in klang. Beautiful church with grottos, water fountains at the entrance to the church and the Holy Room. Holy, Serene, Quiet, Blessed Place for the Prayers or just Solitude. Have lots of photos.. however, cant seem t find an icon to upload the same...perhaps later when this has been accepted by trip adviser.... People are friendly, the 'holy hour' was so enriching....and gave a sense of being closer to God.
    Highly recommended

Sri Sivan Temple have been very much integral for daily lives of the Hindu Community in Klang. Very much located within the vicinity of Lourdes Church, Mosques, Sri Thendayuthapani Temple, and Gurdwara Sahib, this temple have been one of the most visited sites for all Klang folks.
The prayers performed such as Mokhsa Deepam, Shivarathiri, and many more prayers related to the Lord Sivan. Dual language is practised in the temple during communication, English and Tamil. The Chief priest, Mr Murugan and his team had been very much hospitable all along.
Currently, renovation is taking place for Gopuram, so bear in mind that it can be crowded and stuffy at times. No, any footwear is allowed in the temple and you much wash your leg the entrances.
Nevertheless, a very nice place to visit and pray.

I was completely new to Klang and to Malaysia and this tour helped me to understand so much about the place.

Shah is a charismatic tour guide and answered every question I had. The tour visits the gallery, a traditional sari shop and you can see inside the Royal Klang Club without being a member.

The city is well worth a visit for a weekend, so make the most of this and take the free tour.
