There is a little restaurant for breakfast, cakes & refreshments which was a lovely part of the experience. It was nicknamed the angel of the nauld and arria the mermaid.
It sits here as cumbernauld in gaelic means the meeting of the waters.
It's not far from the kelpies so it's worth stopping by if you get the chance.Written April 25, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Lovely and tranquil with plenty of well kept footpaths and tracks leading to various walks. Great place to walk the dog. - Chrissielm3 contributionsWent to see the Pantomime Ugly last night. It was brilliant. Cast were so funny. The venue was perfect also. Better than the pantomime in Glasgow. - Rambling_GiantGlasgow, UK890 contributionsVisited here earlier in the week to take my son to the soft play, ‘Fundamentals’. Overall, it was a decent set-up - quite impressed.
I phoned up to book but there was no need - we were told just to turn up. I can’t remember the exact cost but it was around £4 entry. Total ‘play’ time = two hours (we went between 1pm and 3pm).
The soft play itself was great - clean, spacious and filled with plenty of exciting climbs, slides and tunnels for the wee man. There was an additional area aimed towards younger children, and a climbing wall.
As always, it was a bit of a struggle for me, an adult, to crawl through some of the spaces, but at 6’ 3”, this was fully expected haha. My son would never forgive me if I refused to chase him around the area for a couple of hours!
So food wise - a good little cafe ran on both sides of the wall (cash only on the soft play side). I bought a Kids Lunch Box for my son (good value) and a Chicken Panini / Cappuccino for myself (no complaints). The staff in the cafe, and at the reception, were friendly and polite.
A well run activity for kids at what looked to be a brilliantly facilitated Football stadium.Written May 5, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rhoda700Wishaw, UK32 contributionsVery disappointed what is available in this park now. I used to visit frequently years ago, & enjoyed seeing/petting the animals. Nothing now except ducks & the like. The tree walk is also away!! That was the reason I took my granddaughter today! She did like the new play park however hidden in tree area. The visitor centre was also closed today which was unfortunate. Will not be hurrying back.Written July 20, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Ian SNorthallerton, UK304 contributionsGood displays but boy did the museum take some finding, tucked away on the 3rd floor of the shopping centre along the most dispiriting walkways with lots of containers to catch the leaks. The Kirkintilloch museum was much better if you want to know about the Antonine Wall, and it was far more welcoming.Written October 23, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rambling_GiantGlasgow, UK890 contributionsTook my eldest here (three years old) in January and as soft plays go, this has to be the largest one we’ve visited, in Glasgow anyway.
Location wise, you’re exiting the M80 onto the A80 at Mollinsburn (south of Cumbernauld). Look for the ‘Irn-Bru’ factory and Adventure Planet is on the other side of the roundabout. The parking was busy but we managed to sneak in near the back end of it.
So what did it have? A separate ‘Baby & Toddler Area’, designed for children up to the age of three and the ‘Main Arena’ (3-14 years old), inclusive of a 20-foot drop slide and various ball pits, bridges, mazes etc. in addition, there was a large inflatable area (like ‘Innoflate’ / ‘Air Thrill’) which to be honest, was a decent added bonus and just as good!
Overall opinion? Yeah, really good. A safe environment with regard to security measures put in place - limited exits, plenty of staff and well maintained equipment. My one issue was that it was REALLY busy, to a point where I felt it was getting unsafe. I managed to lose my son for five minutes, even though I was following him the entire way. Proper scared me. The sheer size of the place and amount of people was daunting (maybe something to look at).
Will definitely be back, but probably on a different day (not a Saturday) and an earlier time. That aside, I was impressed with the set-up!Written February 23, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The memorial is Celtic Cross design surmounting a tapered pedestal. Oddly, there is no dedication on the cross. The names are engraved on a memorial war next to the cross, while the dedication is on a plaque next to the memorial seats. A well kept and fitting memorial.Written August 6, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- amyGlasgow, UK12 contributionsSuch an amazing library. It has so many books and computers as well as a printer.
I'm there once a month to get a few books.
It's always warm inside too which is perfect in the winter and sets the right cosy tone for reading.
The staff are always very friendly and helpful 🩷Written December 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
