    Conti Zecca winery - well worth a visit if it is about the wine
    Arrived without a reservation for the wine tasting and cellar tour - warmly received and were offered the opportunity to taste a few wines at the ‘bar’ in the tasting room and wine shop - we were assisted by a very knowledgeable person that explained the regional cultivars, the different soils and growing conditions. Very pleasant wines (above average) and my personal favourite the ‘Luna Bianco del Salento’ a white blend matured in oak. Although the cellar and tasting venue is set in a industrial area it is well worth a visit - knowledgeable assistance and pleasant wine

    The best wine experience
    This is a defenite must do. We had a tour on the beautiful property including wine tasting. The wines are of great quality and, including the shipment to the Netherlands, still very cheap. Alessio is the most friendly person you can imagine who made us have the best experience we could have.

    too helpful people & classic birra
    had this beer (scurra) in a bottle from cooperative store. and since then, i believe Italy is not just wines, they have great beers too. onway to vecchia torre found the brewery and it was dream come true. called the place before visiting and they said they were about to close. i insisted and they accepted my visit. Marco was the only english speaking person available at the brewery. he made us visit the production unit, explained everything. took us to the 1st floor tasting room where they serve the beers on tap and give some taralli to taste along. a super experience. would never forget the visit and marco's kindness. bought some beers onway back. its a must thing to do, if in/near lecce.
