It was the middle the day on a weekday early in the season so we had the whole place to ourselves! Yay! But it was nice, clean, interesting and laid out well. Even though it was small, they made it feel large and kept it entertaining. - Bucketlist28Reading, PA163 contributionsI imagine during the summer this complex could be overwhelming. I say complex because the mini golf, grille, and shop are all together. When we traveled the grille was closed and it was after high season so it was tolerable in terms of parking and crowd.
The shop was quite large and had a variety of items and price ranges. I felt most items were very reasonably priced. Highly recommend - you can find unique glass art or the really "souvenir" items kids love. The restrooms were clean. It was $9 per person, 18 decent holes with a good mix of difficulty. Very clean but the balls do go in the blue bird poop-infested water somewhat easily so definitely wash up well after playing. - phillymike25Philadelphia, PA151 contributionsWe have done this old time family photograph for several years now. It’s kinda our family tradition. The staff is super friendly and not pushy. You can choose from a old western saloon or a gangster scene. New this year is green screens with different scenes. For us this is a must do for us every year. Our wish would be for a better price for a downloadable picture. $50 for one pic is a lot but ok. It would just be a better value if you could download it. - YorkTravelGirlYork, PA237 contributionsWhile on a day trip to Cape May to meet up with extended family, we all decided to play mini golf. Ocean Putt Golf was conveniently located and completely empty -- a real plus with 2 young children and a party of 8. The course cost $7 per person, which we felt was reasonable, but there was no reduced price for children, which was disappointing since they really didn't "play" the course. It is a fun mini-golf course with really traditional and sometimes-challenging obstacles. If you like mini golf, I would definitely try out this course. One word of caution, though: there is zero shade on the course, so if it is a scorching hot day, this would not be the best course to try, especially with children. We were in Avalon on a slow day and the lady was extremely nice to the kids and told them they could stay as long as they wanted. It is connected to an interior design store.
