We visited to attend the epic Inch Beach parkrun. The sum arrived at just the right time and we had January sunshine, showers and rainbows to accompany us. Afterwards we walked the length of the isthmus, marvelling at the dunes and views.

Its a must see, and if you plan it right, you can enjoy a meal while enjoying the view. I love being able to drive down on the beach but feel free to take a walk along the sand dunes as well.

Beautiful long sandy beach suitable for walkers, sunbathers and water sports enthusiasts. Sammy's restaurant is right on the beach, and the Strand Hotel is just across the road. (Note: In winter check the opening times as neither of these places were open when we visited...More

It was cold the day we were there but it didn't prevent the local kids from participating in their surf lessons. A full wet suit was needed. A little souvenir shop has drinks and a few gifts for purchase. Parking onsite.

Amazing natural beach stretching for miles, walk down to the water's edge and gaze across at the far peninsula. Stunning views regardless of the weather!

Much of the Wild Atlantic Way is cliffside or a bit inland from the water. Inch beach is easy access, good parking, a gift shop and toilets. Beach is very wide and inviting to walk if you have the time.
