The gardens and presentation of this winery are first class. The staff were obliging and had no hesitation in spending time with you giving information on any wine you wished to taste. Vasse Felix is a must visit for any wine buff.

The environment in this winery, from cultured pathways and horticulture into an elegant boutique and restaurant, is impressive. The wine tasting is educational and enjoyable. Food and service in the restaurant is to a high standard.

We did the 90 minutes winery tour & private wine tasting (55$) and it was absolutely worth it! Our tour guide knew everything about wines, the winery, the area and told us very interesting stories. We have done other tours in other places before, and...More

We stayed in the Margaret river region for a couple of days and booked ahead for our top pick restaurants; which means I’m comparing our lunch experience here with other wineries. This was my bottom pick and my evaluation is very subtle, based on what...More

if there was one Margaret River winery you had time for - this is it! Beautiful estate, with sculptures dotting the grounds, excellent restaurant with views over the wine yard, a glass walled cellar and great wines!

I drink only riesling prior and hated chardonnay but Vasse Felix changed that. to me they produce the best chardonnay. I tried a few from the other wineries but nothing comes close, not even the Filius. Loved it so much i ordered a case. The...More

Comments: School holidays are in April (8 to 23 April) which will affect accommodation if not already booked. East Victoria Park is on the southern side of the Swan River. Perth city is on the northern side of the Swan River. Consider that it could be cheaper to take a taxi from the airport and collect your rental car the next morning at 9am. This would save you the cost of a day's car hire, plus possibly the cost of parking if you are staying in the city area. The drive from Perth to...More

Perth 28May - 6June 2018 with 2 kids (1 Replies)
Hi all, it's my first time going to Australia and with 2 kids in tow. Need advice on my itinerary, hotel recommendations, where to eat, and any advice you think is important to take note of. This is my rough itinerary. Havent had time to give it much thought. Some of the stuff were just cut and paste. We will be doing self drive. I'm so interested in Albany, but don't think we can squeeze that into this trip. Are whale and dolphin watching available during this period? I would like my...More
