This park is also called “Kasetsart University Lotus and Water Lily Park”- next to highway AH15. For nature & garden lovers this is a must to see. Singapore has their “orchid park” of a variety of orchids and Thailand has their own park displaying a variety of water lilies and lotuses. Once you walk on the boardwalk and to the ground area with a variety of water pots, you’ll see close up the different colors and types of water lilies. There is also a circular shaded trail around the park to walk on. The place is well landscaped and the small lake make it very picturesque. ( A couple cafes are next to the parking area. ( morning is the best time to go)

This ia a beautiful well laid out Lily and Lotus Park. The variety of colours is really amazing and it keeps changing ,depending upon the season.
A beautiful Dragon / Naga statue has been built here and is proof of the artistic nature of the Thai people. A must see attraction, very restful and no entry fees. There is a small coffee shop and an OROP store. Don't miss it.

Weekdays quiet.
Nice walk around the park that is appropriately maintained

Water lilies and lotus abundant.

There is a slight aroma from the lake. Unsure where it is from

Lotus garden of Kasaetsart University. Cycles are for hire and there's plenty of cycle routes. If you're tall; being your own bike ;)

Very easy to find, enroute from Sakon Nakhon there are so many great places to stop for those things you just can't find in large towns. The park is located just opposite a large lake on your right. There is a small white access bridge on your left, just over the bridge is great parking. On site are clean toilets and a very refreshing restaurant, food is of great quality and quantity for the more picky folks like myself. As you look out from the rest area you will see every color of floating water lilies, even blue ones yes! (4) shades of blue. A above the water platform allows you to walk above the water even touch some of the more exotic plants. There are park security so let's, not try to be to brazen. There is a alagator feeding farm onsite for you and the kids to walk above and around the tanks.
Along your walk you will find vast amounts of water containers filled with nursery plants at varying stages. If you visit during the weekday, you are lucky because English speaking botonist are available to teach, show and explain the various types of water life as well as the benefits to adding to any water source. The visit last as long as you like and it is FREE, so next time you have a few open hours take a drive 30 minutes from Sakon Nakhon city center.
