Pampering without too much OTT
Aug 2013 • Friends
This spa is tucked away in Otium health centre attached to The Thistle hotel at brands hatch. There is loads of parking. all the girls that work there are absolutely lovely, very attentive and it is not such a show off venue nor overpriced. They are always doing excellent deals so look out for them on their website.

Spa Day=Average (Didn't stay in the hotel)
I spent half day in the spa and had 2x 25 min treatments (back, neck and shoulder massage and an express facial). These were part of their summer promotions so the 2x for £29 and use of the spa facilities (steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, pool etc). The cleanliness was good not big issues there. I found the pool and/or jacuzzi to have a little too much chlorine, kinda stung my eyes whilst I was laying on the sunbeds but it wasn't a big deal. The kids jumping, splashing and screaming wasn't so much fun, guess I won't go during summer holidays next time. Let me just move onto the treatments. The rooms were lovely and the staff were friendly. However, the massages felt like I was being stroked even when I asked for it a bit harder; there was no headband for my hair during the facial (got the oils and scrubs in my hair) and there was no water given after the treatments to flush out the toxins. Other than that it was nice; not the fully relaxing day I was hoping for but it was cool. Overall though, I won't be going back again. Just because it was summer promotions doesn't meant that things should be skipped. I don't mind paying a little more for a bit more luxury.

Great Spa Day
Recently took up a special offer of a Spa Day & boy, i'm glad we did. The lady looking after us & carrying out the treatments was lovely. The facilities were clean and nice. Our lunch was really tasty, but the crowning glory was our afternoon tea - fantastic!
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel. Pelase ensure our thanks is passed on to all the team.

Relaxing atmosphere
I visited here for a spa day with my wife at the end of 2012. Overall it was an enjoyable experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the facilities were good and the hotel itself was in a nice location, if a little tricky to find. We also had a tea for two which was delicious. Overall it was nothing spectacular but we did have a very relaxing day. It was a little expensive as far as spa days go but I'd book it again simply because the massage alone was well worth the journey.
