Excellent views of the planes. The food / drink is expensive enough but these sort of places always are. Take a picnic there's plenty of picnic benches. Will return.

Today I took a group of retired members to the Runway Park for a meal and tour of Concorde. Everyone had been excited about this trip and they weren't disappointed. We were treated with excellent service and the meal was lovely and the service brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. The highlight of course was Concorde and the stories and... More

With an up and coming holiday this was a thrill for the kids (and us) to see what they will experience, with a pilot on a 777 taxiing by and waving shows you how close you can be , Concorde is there if you want the guided tour and many other things to do , we paid £10 for our... More

This is a nice place to visit, but beware it isn't as cheap as others would tell you. We stayed about 3 hours for which we paid £10 for car parking. The children's corner is £2 a ride which soon adds up, and the cafe prices are also on the high side. There is a gift shop but it doesn't... More

Excellent visit to see Concorde with an extremely informative talk on board including sitting on the flight deck Hard to believe no computers were used her when she flew Mach 2 at 60,000 feet expanding up to 8 inches. Amazing technology made me even more proud to be British just such a shame it isn't still flying . New York... More

What a fantastic day after stumbling upon The Runway visitor centre at Manchester airport. It's a great spot to watch the planes, it has a fanatic visitor centre where you can grab a coffee & cake which are reasonably priced (recommended the Victoria sponge for £1) and a restaurant which looked lovely. The place was busy but still plenty of... More

Booked this as a last minute idea, booked the classic Concorde tour for myself and 3 children. The price was about £13 each this included free parking and the tour. Tour was great very interesting and great tour guides, afterwards we watched the planes take off and land. There was also a BBQ outside and a few kids stalls/games etc... More

I had a short visit here today on the way back from the Peak District. Parking available at £5 for up to 2 hours. Coffee shop and cafe available, loads of picnic tables if you want to bring your own. Activities for young children available. Great views of runway and planes landing/taking off. Concord experience but as I understand you... More

Visited here today with my partner and baby son who seems to have a fascination for aeroplanes, well they do pass over our house on final approach. He loved it here. There is plenty of space for the children to run around and play. There are even some attractions there for them too from old planes to fun fair rides,... More
