Great place to spend a couple of hours with young children. Great views of planes coming and going, often able to wave at passengers on passing planes. Good snack options for the kids or a meal. There's equipment for the kids to climb on as...More

We visited on a cold but sunny day. The location is ideal for watching the planes as they taxi right past on their way back to the terminal. The facilities are good and many improvements have been made to the site over the years. The...More

The viewing area is great and so close to the aircrafts. You have an excellent view of planes taking off and landing. Morning viewing is better as long hauls flights are arriving early. Most spectacular is the Emirates A380. Parking cost £12 per day. I...More

Yes the café is very close to the runway, it's better outside the café. We spent about 3 hours there but we did the Nimrod and Concorde tour which took about 2 hours. Well worth a visit.
